China Travel Flow ("we", "us", "our") operates chinatravelflow.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.
Information we collect
- Account information — if you create an account, we store your email address and an encrypted password through our authentication provider (Supabase). We never see your password in plain text.
- Content you save — trips and saved articles you create while signed in.
- Usage data — we use Google Analytics 4 (which sets cookies and processes approximate location, device, and browsing data) and Cloudflare Web Analytics (privacy-friendly and cookieless) to understand aggregate traffic. We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for sign-in sessions and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; you can still read the Site without them.
How we use your information
To provide accounts and saved trips, to keep the Site secure, and to understand and improve how the Site is used.
Third parties
We rely on Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), and Google Analytics. Your data is processed by these providers under their own privacy terms.
Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account exists. You may request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us at support@chinatravelflow.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date shown above.
